Translating "神藏", acupuncture point KI-25
The reasoning for translating "神藏" as "Container of the Mind" from Chinese into English. This is the original name of acupuncture point KI-25 (Kidney 25).
Explanation of the point name
The meaning of the point name can be seen in two ways.
The container can be the ribcage, that this point is on, with the mind supposedly located in the heart.
But the container can also be taken similarly as in the points BL-44 Hall of Consciousness 神堂, BL-49 Dwelling of Thought 意舍, BL-50 Stomach Granary 胃倉 and BL-52 Chamber of Will 志室, that all have a name that is about a kind of room. This room refers to the head, where thought 意 happens. When feeling thought, the skull can simulateously be felt as an enclosing space to it, as if it's a kind of room housing thought.
KI-25 Container of the Mind 神藏 also affects thought 意, as these points do.
